A daily step goal gives you a gentle target to aim for, and watching your trends over time is a lovely way to see all that movement add up. Both live on the Nutrition tab.
Changing your daily step goal
There are two ways to get here — pick whichever feels easier.
Option 1: from the Nutrition tab
Open the Nutrition tab and tap the ... icon in the top-right corner.
Select Edit step goal.
Type in the number of steps you'd like as your daily goal and tap Save.
Option 2: through the Steps section
Open the Nutrition tab and scroll all the way down.
Tap the Steps section at the bottom of the page.
Tap the + sign in the top-right corner to open the add steps window.
Tap the ... icon in the top-right corner and select Edit step goal.
Type in your daily goal and tap Save.
Your goal needs to be at least 500 steps — anything lower won't save. Beyond that, it's entirely up to you, and you can adjust it as often as you like using either route.
Daily/Weekly Step trends
If you want to see your daily and weekly Steps trends to see how you're doing, here's where to find them.
Open the Nutrition tab and scroll all the way down.
Tap the Steps section at the bottom of the page.
It opens on the Today tab. To see your week at a glance, switch to the Week tab.
On the Today tab, you'll find:
Your daily step goal
How many steps are left to reach it
A list of everything you've logged that day
On the Week tab, you'll find:
How many steps you logged each day this week
Your daily average for the week
A list of the entries added across the week
A Trend indicator, which appears once you've logged steps for 7 days
Tap the arrows on the Week tab to look back at earlier weeks whenever you're curious.
